Annual Convention

For a weekend each August, the Missouri Basketweavers Guild members gather for the annual meeting within the state of Missouri. Guild members attend a business meeting, elect new officers (when applicable) and vote on any proposed by-law changes.

The annual state convention provides a time for members to participate in a basket exchange, market place and shop with vendors. Attendees can purchase baskets and basket related items, and participate in a raffle comprised of donated basket related items of all kinds.

The majority of time at the convention is spent attending workshop sessions to learn and to weave new and exciting baskets. Attendees may choose to weave several different skill-levels of baskets from beginner to advanced. Everyone leaves the convention with several new baskets and new friends from around Missouri and across the country.
